Hello, Nature host, Misha Euceph, didn’t know about the national parks until she turned 21. But after an experience in Joshua Tree and watching 12 hours of a national parks documentary, she sets out on a road trip to answer the question: if the parks are public, aren’t they supposed to be for everyone? In this podcast, she goes out to see America to tell a new story of our national parks.

    Thank you Ms. Euceph! You are capturing both, the side of the National Parks I know, and the side I want to know! Big Bend is one of my special places, and I look forward to sharing and seeing it anew on my next visit. From a dusty red giant in Austin.

    Am I missing it, or did you forget the Crow/ Apsaalooke Nation, who play a major major major role in Yellowstone. Thank you guys for correcting Derek’s name last week, but please, try a bit harder. I can’t imagine where you got a list of tribal nations who are part of Yellowstone history that did not include the Crow Nation. The Crow Creek Sioux are not the same people, oh my, not at all. And please remember, there is no “universal source” for all things native/indigenous American. Each nation is the authority on that nation. It’s going to require a lengthier fact checking process than you may be used to. I really do love this podcast, just a little frustrated with y’all’s details.

      Heather, I completely agree that thorough research should be done, especially with the history of this country. You seem to have some recommendations, can you share them with me? I am new to this country and I want to learn about the people of this land. I hope you can see my reply.

      Yea having the money to tow a car to LA… so many things that rub me in the wrong way from Misha. Yet, listening to the expert and rangers in the series, I think is still worth the shot.

    I just recently finished listening to all 8 episodes of this podcast after having just returned from a trip to Yosemite NP over the July 4 weekend. I am filled with thoughts and yet find myself speechless.

    Thank you. Thank you for this amazing series the delved into the beauty and majesty of these amazing lands, but also the pain and trauma not only of people but the lands itself.

    Thank you for working to tell the full story and not just the story that keeps the United States comfortable. This podcast series made me happy, sad, angry, and everything in between. It also made me realize how much there needs to be done and how I want to be a part of holding space for this nation to feel ALL the feelings that can lead towards healing.

    So again, thank you. I hope this series will be continued. 💖
