Patagonia Snowboard Ambassador Ryland Bell and friends had a simple plan: leave from the harbor in Haines, boat across, bushwhack, bivy then ride the sexy spines on Rainbow Peak. When you’ve got a window of good conditions, sometimes one good line leads to another and an overnight trip stretches into five days. With AK as your backyard, things are bound to happen.
