Kieran Balazs
Born and raised in Montana, Kieran spent over a decade living in Denver at the eastern foot of the Rockies and now lives in Salt Lake City at the western foot. Always curious about the view from the next ridge over, his trans-montane wanderings have taken him to the tops of some 500 different mountains, lately hauling a pack filled with his four-year-old daughter. When not exploring obscure topography in the western U.S., he enjoys plotting his next opportunity to do so. An REI employee since 2005, Kieran works currently as a sales lead at the Salt Lake City store.
