Laura Swapp is director of next gen marketing at REI. Most recently, she led Force of Nature, one of the co-op’s biggest initiatives for 2017. This holistic effort was designed to address the outdoor industry’s gender gap and disproportionally put women first in order to “level the playing field for women” in the outdoors. Laura is also vice president of The REI Foundation. As a native of San Diego, her favorite place to play is in the waves. REI Member since 2010.
