Some people prefer one season over the other, but Amber loves all the seasons and the moments of chaos and change each one brings—it’s the sound of mountain bike tires on crispy fall leaves, the taste of homemade cookies after a long day on skis in the backcountry, the excitement of compulsively identifying every spring wildflower along the trail, the warm feeling of a summer sunrise on a morning run. While she may come across as a dog person, she actually loves cats. She also wants to remind you that there’s a sunset every day, and it’s amazing. REI member since 2014.
