Astra Lincoln
Astra Lincoln is a writer working at the intersection of people, power and place. Her work has taken her to the Alaskan arctic, the Colombian Andres, and across the intermountain west. In 2022, Astra won the Banff Mountain Book Competition’s ‘Best Essay’ award. Her work has also been nominated for the Society for Environmental Journalist’s ‘Best Feature’ prize and for inclusion in the Best American Essays anthology. Astra is currently writing her first book, a researched memoir about identity formation and truth-telling in the wake of a catastrophic brain injury.
